Sound effects only playing once instead of looping

Is it possible to have a sound file only play once? I’d like to have a sound effect happen at times like: opening a door (when a character gets close to the door it plays the sound) or when a character steps on a space a trap is sprung (playing a sound effect). I’ve tried this but the sound keeps repeating as long as the token is inside the sound radius.

Currently sounds placed on the scene loop whenever they are in that radius of the sound (it’s meant to be something can be heard consistently when they are in that area.)

But - adding a one-off sound for a specific event would be a nice feature! I would have to think about how we can implement that for specific things. Perhaps in a future enhancement!

Oh I should say also, currently, you can trigger a sound directly from the Sounds tab to play for all users once. (Just be sure to press stop on it when done so it doesn’t play again on refresh.). Also, any sounds you don’t want to show up there, you can disable from that by going to Compendium → Sounds → Right click, and click “Hide from controls.”

That’s be great! The ambient sound feature is very cool. I have it set to play music from a noisy club on a cyberpunk street, and have the sound of water rushing through pipes in an area where the players need to go through.
